PILING ESTIMATOR - BOREHAMWOOD - CONSTRUCTION - CFG - ROTARY - CFA - AUGER

 

Based in Hertfordshire, JRL Civil Engineering Ltd are a specialist geotechnical contractor who provides industry leading equipment and technology for the design and construction of piled foundations and retaining walls.

 

Since our inception 2005, we have fast become an industry leader in the installation of Continuous Flight Auger (CFG) and rotary bored panels. We also work closely with some of the UK's largest companies, including Network Rail and London Underground. As well as our fleet of CFA, cased CFA and rotary rigs, we also have in-house design capabilities, this means we can offer detailed and bespoke engineering options to our clients.

 

 ** Should your expertise be in another field, we are also recruiting for Estimators within piling, facades, drylining and main contracting. **  

 

Role & Responsibilities:

You will be working on projects within CFA, Bored Piling and Mini Piling sectors.
This is a customer focused role, which requires individuals who can engage with clients to determine their needs.

 

  • Order concrete and rebar
  • QA / Quality Control
  • Compile quality control records
  • Drawing interrogation and RFI’s (request for information)
  • Experience in producing and submitting method statements
  • Assist project manager with some of their tasks
  • Oversee temporary works
  • Find solutions to any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
  • General site duties
  • If needed, set out and level the site
  • The ability to use EDM machines
  • Provide technical advice

 

 

Desirable Criteria:

 

 

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in piling
  • The ability to work under their own initiative
  • Strong client interface skills
  • Successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and technical knowledge of the piling sector
