SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – FACADES – CLADDING – LONDON -  CONSTRUCTION

 

UK Facades offer a complete façade solution for the residential market, from initial preliminary design to practical site completion, utilising many materials including SFS, glazing, various rain screen systems (including Aluminium, Insulated Render, Zinc, Terracotta, Stone and Brick), complex fascias and copings, and GRC & Precast concrete.

The role offers the opportunity to work within our established pre-construction team where individuals that are renowned within the industry and working on projects that are changing the way we think about delivering important projects, which will give you an opportunity to enhance your established skill set on projects that are iconic.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Producing valuations
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Management of sub-contract accounts
  • Resolution of contractual disputes
  • Forecasting
  • Producing reports
  • Maintaining steady workflow and turnover
  • Scheduling resources
  • Ensuring that projects in your jurisdiction run to budget
  • Delivering acceptable margins
  • Achieving or improving on agree budgets
  • Increasing client base
  • Ensuring preliminary costs run within estimated costs
  • Liaising and constantly communicating with management and Sub Contractors

 

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Experience working in either a consultancy or developer background
  • Experienced in both pre and post contract work
  • Excellent client facing abilities
  • Experience working on residential, commercial or similar sector projects
  • Specifically after cladding, curtain walling and/or roofing experience
  • Tenacious attitude, with a desire to succeed and progress in their career. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results. Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Subcontractor / Main contractor background.
  • Experience working in either a consultancy or developer background
  • JCT Design & Build
