As a result of continued growth, our UKF division is looking to add a QA Manager to their team. You will be an experienced QA Manager with good product knowledge (Curtain Walling / Facades / Cladding / Glazing) and extensive experience working within the construction industry.

UK Facades offer a complete façade solution for the residential market, from initial preliminary design to practical site completion, utilising many materials including SFS, glazing, various rain screen systems (including Aluminium, Insulated Render, Zinc, Terracotta, Stone and Brick), complex fascias and copings, and GRC & Precast concrete.

The role is mainly going to sites and undertaking inspection, reports and providing support. Between one and three days per fortnight is spent in head office collating reports and other administration activities. The other days will be spent going to sites, other offices and factories.

Other tasks include creating weekly and monthly reports on project performance and other reports defined by the quality function.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Meeting with clients to understand their business needs

· Drawing up company quality procedures, standards and specifications

· Matching processes with standards

· Presenting project proposals to clients

· Discussing raw materials with suppliers

· Writing management and technical reports

· Running budgets

· Collecting and sharing statistics

· Dealing with any issues that pop up with customers or projects

· Staying on top of customer expectations

· Following legal regulations

· Co-ordinating anything that has to be done to meet quality standards


• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline

• HNC/HND or degree in a relevant subject

• Experience working in either a consultancy or developer background

• Experienced in both pre and post contract work

• Excellent client facing abilities

• Experience working on residential, commercial or similar sector projects

• Specifically after cladding, curtain walling and/or roofing experience

• JCT Design & Build
