London Tower Cranes Hire and Sales Limited is one of the leading tower crane hire company’s in the UK and is a part of the notorious JRL Group.


LTC has built a reputable reputation over the past two decades through a strong pipeline of repeat business turning over in excess of £30m. We deliver a complete construction service on projects ranging from £6m to £180m many of which dominate London's skyline.


Due to further expansion, we are looking for a Block Camera Engineer to assemble & fit block cameras onto our Tower Cranes across London.


We need someone who is searching for a new challenge working on Tower Cranes.


What is Blok cam?


BlokCam is a wireless system that can be quickly and easily deployed to the hook block of a tower crane. The sound and view from below the camera is then transmitted and received wirelessly via the antenna systems to a screen in the cabin. This allows the operator to see and hear the load and surroundings, giving an unobstructed, live, audio-visual feed of the critical areas that working in the blind would never allow.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a team to install and carry out maintenance on Blok cam systems
  • Perform pre-delivery maintenance and inspection on Blok cam systems
  • Monitor critical spare stock holdings
  • Keep accurate records of works completed
  • Maintaining of Company Health & Safety standard



  • IT Knowledge – REQUIRED
  • Electrical knowledge if available
  • Working at height - REQUIRED
  • Clean UK driver’s license
  • Be prepared to travel when necessary
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to work effectively within a team and work well under pressure
  • Be prepared to work additional hours as and when required
