About Us:

The business is currently seeking a systems focused professional to join the Systems Team.

As part of a well-established team the successful applicant will have a fantastic opportunity to develop their system experience, providing support and training for users, as well as some involvement in project implementations. Career progression within the group is a real possibility.

 

To begin with the role will mainly focus on providing system support for our plant control and stock modules, along with training new users in these areas. There will also be some administrative tasks such as minute taking and scheduling training sessions. The role will also have the opportunity to get involved with projects, assisting the implementation leads as required. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have the ability to pick systems up quickly and is confident in dealing with big personalities.

Requirements:

  • Proficient with basic Microsoft office products, specifically Excel to intermediate level required
  • Familiarity with COINS useful
  • Familiarity with a plant hire business is preferable
  • Confidence in dealing with users from all departments
  • Ability to work to agreed deadlines
  • Ability to pick up systems quickly
  • Patience - Tenacity – Flexibility
  • SQL knowledge preferable

 

Responsibilities:

  • First line support for all Plant hire and Stock related queries that come into the helpdesk
  • Training users on new system
  • Producing and updating manuals as required
  • System testing of fixes and upgrades
  • Reviewing and proposing system changes as appropriate
  • Basic administrative duties, such as minute taking, arranging meetings and scheduling training sessions
