DIGITAL TECHNICIAN – CONSTRUCTION – RC FRAME – CONCRETE – BOREHAMWOOD

 

We are looking to employ a willing and enthusiastic individual who has a passion to become the best they can be. The role will be developing and expanding our in house Engineering Team to provide 3D reinforced concrete detailing and workshop fabrication drawings. This will require excellent IT skills and that are competent with the latest CAD and BIM software’s. Programming skills would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will form an integral part of the Engineering Team and has the opportunity to become a team leader.

 

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of drawings to comply with project requirements
  • Efficient use of AutoCAD, CADS RC & REVIT to produce high quality drawings
  • Communicate with internal company and external designers
  • Assist in future product development
  • Assist in Document controlling
  • Ability to produce RC drawings associated BBS
  • Be able to use CADS RC or other detailing software packages
  • Knowledge of RC detailing to EC2
  • Ability to read engineers structural drawings
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of the construction industry in particular the concrete frame sector
  • Good skills in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Fluent English Language skills are required
  • Be able to work as part of a team or on own initiative when required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in RC detailing in UK
  • HND, BSc or BEng (qualified by experience)
